Privacy Policy 1.0 / 2026-10-21 This statement describes actual file actions, folder access, and local storage in the current SparkleRight 1.0.0 development preview. It does not imply an App Store release. 1. Scope and contact SparkleRight is Sparkle’s macOS context-menu file utility. This statement covers the app, Finder extension, and system Services invoked by the user. Contact sparklebossletter@outlook.com after removing unnecessary private paths, file contents, or authorization material. 2. Information processed Commands process selected file or folder names, paths, types, sizes, modification times, and contents needed for the chosen action. Image conversion, ZIP, creation, copying, and moving read or write selected files. Checksums are calculated locally from selected ordinary files. Action switches, language, menu display, favorite folders, scope, security-scoped bookmarks, template names, and imported copies are stored locally. Copy-name, path, and file-URL commands write their results to the system clipboard; the app does not continuously record clipboard history. Cut references remain in memory for the current run; originals stay unchanged before a move. 3. Access and local coordination System pickers grant sandbox access to user-selected files or folders; security-scoped bookmarks support later access. The Finder extension and app use an App Group for shared configuration and action requests, which may contain actions, selected paths, destinations, and access bookmarks. Do not publicly share those files. Enabling the extension or limiting menu scope does not itself grant file access. The current app does not request Full Disk Access, screen recording, Input Monitoring, or Apple Events automation permission. Independent system, file-system, and external-service restrictions still apply. 4. Retention and management Settings and grants persist for reuse without a universal automatic expiry. Removing a favorite or scope entry does not delete the folder or revoke saved access. The access manager removes selected saved grants; some current access may last until quitting. Imported templates retain app-managed copies. After removing a template entry, unused copies can be individually confirmed and moved to Trash. Accepted or explicitly invalid requests are consumed individually; some undelivered requests can remain. The manager lists app-owned requests older than two minutes; clearing one does not delete original files or repeat the action. Optional local command diagnostics start disabled. When explicitly enabled, they may retain time, stage, process, action, or path details without automatic upload. The app provides no separate library encryption, universal automatic cleanup, or cloud deletion service. System backups or synced folders may retain additional copies. 5. Networks and external services The current app has no account, ads, telemetry, cloud sync, or in-app updater, and no app network-access entitlement. It does not automatically upload files, settings, or action records. User-initiated AirDrop, websites, other apps, cloud folders, or email involve services with their own rules. Writing into a synced folder can also trigger that provider’s synchronization. Website hosting differs from local app processing and may receive IP addresses, requests, and browser information. The app’s Privacy Policy & Terms & Licenses button still has no configured URL and is disabled; use this website’s documents entry. 6. Choices and changes Pause context-menu entries, quit the app, manage system extensions and saved grants, and manage local templates or records as needed. Check actions and destinations for sensitive files; do not send support unnecessary contents or authorization material. Changes to features, distribution, or data behavior require a dated policy update, not claims based on future plans.
